The Dayton factory became the first tire factory in the world to earn LEED v4 Silver certification, recognizing its energy efficiency and environmental performance. The facility's administration building later earned LEED v4 Gold certification. The factory also holds ISO 9001 quality certification.

Nokian Tyres built its North American Factory to better serve customers in the United States and Canada with tires designed for local driving conditions. The facility strengthens regional manufacturing capabilities, improves product availability and supports long-term growth in the North American market.

Nokian Tyres states that millions of tires per year are produced at its Dayton, Tennessee facility. In 2024, the company announced completion of the factory's five-year ramp-up plan and reported production records at the facility.

The Dayton factory employs approximately 500 people and provides specialized manufacturing training along with modern workplace facilities, like a gym and sauna to support employee wellness.
