Nokian Tyres infuses Aramid fibers into the sidewall compound on select products, and into the tread compound on others for protection against cuts and punctures.

Extremely strong Aramid fibers, the same material used by the aerospace and defense industries, stengthen the rubber to withstand external impacts and pressing against the wheel flange.
