Nokian Tyres WR C3

These are my fifth set of Nokian tires. I bought for my work van which is often loaded with over half ton of goods. Without any exageration, I have gone through 45-60 cm of snow, up and down steep hills in an AWD, without even a slip. Absolutely mind blowing. Also, I replaced the Michellin tires that were on it and because of the stiff sidewalls the handling was vastly improved and I was less fatigued at the end of the day of long driving. I also have driven 41,000 km's by now over four years, and there is still a fair amount of tread left. I would buy them again.

Mounted on camper my camper van with 3 tons of load. Driving in the Alps, steep snowy roads without using snow chains in 3 years... I was thinking they would be good tires for me, but they are more than just good tires.

Driving back from WV to Colorado in November of 2018 we ran into winter storm "Bruce" that hammered Kansas and Missouri with ice and snow. We were driving our mid-height roof 2016 Ford Transit and passed by a whole lot of folks who obviously didn't have the tires to deal with the slick roads as they were either in the median or in a ditch. Ice grip was tremendous, and I think the traction control only ever came on once momentarily while I was accelerating from a stop on a hill. Snow traction was great also, and it seems to drive better on slick roads than my AWD Escape does with stock all seasons. Even with 30-40 mph winds hitting the side of the van it stayed stable and on the road, so we were very thankful to get home safely.

I have a 2015 Ford transit 250. The stock 235 /65 16s from hankook were garbage. Scariest tire I've ever used. The continental all season, great tire, but only got 43,000 miles from them. I have never heard of Nokian tires before I got these for my work truck. The tires give the vehicle a total different feel. They grip the road surface like no other tire on dry, snow, and ice. The feedback that this tire offer is drastically different than the other tires I've used on this vehicle. I can feel the tire hold the road, the side walls of the tire are offer support under heavy winds the other tires I've had on it fail. The traction on ice is second to no tire I have ever had on any vehicle I've ever owned. If there is snow.. The tires love it. As long as you are a good winter weather driver. These tires will not leave you stranded. With out a doubt the best tire for your money no questions asked... Even if they last 30,000 miles I will be happy. But I think they will last longer. I will update next winter for mileage.

This tires are well documented as the best winter tire in the market. I live in Anchorage Alaska and I have looking to install studded winter tires in my Winnebago trend built on a Ram ProMaster chassis. I went to the Website, saw that they mentioned the North America specific fitments, called the local dealer and got the tires installed the next day. Now I can safely enjoy the Alaskan winter in my RV!!!
