New Naming Guidelines for Our Company and Products
All Nokian Tyres’ product names are changing!
New names must be updated on all materials by the end of 2022
To strengthen our brand, we are adding our whole company name to all our product names.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU AS OUR CUSTOMER?
Please start using the new Nokian Tyres product names in your communications and channels from now on. All data and channels with Nokian Tyres product info will have to be updated with the new product names by the end of 2022. However, you do not need to update old social media posts, using the new names from now on in all social media channels is sufficient.
Check and update your location and channels for correct use of product names.
The newest products have already been named after this rule, such as Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta R5, but we will also change the names of all our existing products.
GUIDELINES for WRITING THE PRODUCT NAME
The main rule is to keep all the product name parts visually equal in size and thickness. Dividing the product name into two or three lines is allowed. Placing of the company name part and model name part under each other with left, center or right alignment is allowed.
DO NOT write the company name part in a different size or thickness than the model name part.
DO NOT place the word Nokian on a different line than the rest of the product name.
This change will gradually be visible in all materials Nokian Tyres produces, such as marketing materials, price lists and invoices, and in all of our channels (i.e. Dealer Services). The change will be in effect across all Nokian Tyres markets and all product names are impacted.
Please note: using only the word Nokian whether in reference to the products or the company is not permissible from now on. Always use the full brand and company name: Nokian Tyres.
