Production

We stand for safety and sustainability

Our growth is based on sustainability. We are industry pioneers, especially when it comes to reducing emissions from production.

In 2025, we start the tire delivieries from our passenger car tire factory in Oradea, Romania – the world’s first full-scale zero CO2 emission tire factory.

Beyond the Romanian factory, we manufacture car tires in its factories in Nokia, Finland and in Dayton, US. In recent years, we have increased capacity at our factories in Finland and the US.

The sale of Nokian Tyres’ operations in Russia was completed in March 2023, after which all Nokian Tyres’ operations in Russia ended.

We are supplementing our own production with carefully selected  manufacturing partners.

All heavy tires are manufactured at the Nokia factory except for tires for trucks and buses, which are designed in Finland and produced by manufacturing partners in the EU.
