How to check your tire size

The size that fits your car is specified as a series of numbers and letters, for example, 205/55 R 16 94 V XL. You can check the right size from the sidewalls of your current tires or your car's registration document.

  1. Width e.g. 205
  2. Height e.g. 55
  3. Rim e.g. 16

New tread compound

Excellent winter grip and fuel efficiency

This rubber compound, refined for hard use, works along a wide temperature range, tolerates hard tyre wear, and reduces rolling resistance. The high percentage of natural rubber allows the tire to maintain its safety properties even in very cold weather. Rapeseed oil brings tear strength to the tire and improves grip on snow and ice.

Modern square steel stud

More safety

Durable square steel studs ensure excellent grip even as the kilometres pass by. The studs have several edges for maximising the area of contact, in turn improving the grip of the studs on slippery surfaces. The optimised stud placement makes the noise level pleasantly low, which improves driving comfort especially on longer trips.

DSI and WSI indicators

Comfort and safety

The numbers on the centre surface of the tire indicate how much of the main groove depth remains on the tread. The snowflake symbol Winter Safety Indicator (WSI) remains visible to a groove depth of four millimetres. Once the snowflake has worn out, the driver should purchase new winter tires to ensure sufficient safety.

Tailored steel belt package

Commendable durability

The steel belt package tailored for the double body structure is durable. The pocket strips integrated into the edges of both steel belts are a unique design feature. This solution ensures that the steel belts are durable in heavy use and that they can be securely attached to the structure. The new, more flexible steel cord both improves the structural durability and allows the tyre to retain its state-of-the-art characteristics for longer than before. At the same time, this solution reduces rolling resistance, in turn enhancing fuel economy.

Special Clinch rubber compound

Optimised durability, lower rolling noise

The compound presses flexibly against the foot of the rim, making the bead area more durable when handling massive loads. This innovation also successfully minimises the cabin noise of the vehicle, since it reduces the vibrations from the tire body, preventing them from passing over onto the rim and further to the inside of the vehicle.

Aramid Sidewall technology

Commercial-grade durability

Aramid Sidewall technology offers a new type of durability and protection for demanding driving conditions. Strong, synthetic Aramid fibers reinforce the tire's sidewall and make it more resistant to impacts and cuts that could otherwise easily break it.
