Good traction, horrible lifespan

Tires worked great for their intended purpose, but after only 7500 miles, I already need new tires.

Commercial van's perfect winter tire

I've had these tires on a Ford Transit 350HD AWD every winter since 2020. I knew Nokian Tyres made the best winter tires but what these have done on my AWD dual rear-wheel van seems to defy the laws of physics! Recently I returned from vacation to find my van and trailer with a 6,000lbs load buried in compact snow from the snow plow 2.5 feet deep on the driver's side. Just put my van in drive, selected slippery surface and the whole thing moved on the 1st go without a hassle. Some of my neighbors thought I would need a tow truck. After experiencing these tires and what they can do, I'll never even consider another tire for this van in winter. In my size 205/75 R16 there are not many choices. When I entered this size and winter tire on a search engine nothing really should up. I had to write Nokian 205/75R16 to finally find them. My best advice is to order them early on well before the winter season.

MultiTouch tread model.The faceted tread blocks and dense siping improve handling on icy, snowy, and wet roads. The large, open grooves accelerate the removal of slush and water, efficiently preventing slushplaning and hydroplaning.

Hakkapeliitta CR4 rubber compound. The non-studded tire rubber compound designed for van use works safely across a wide temperature range and lowers rolling resistance, which can be seen in your fuel bill and reduces the strain on the environment.
